Our origin

An IT advisory firm inspired by legal rigour and a defence mindset.

Girouard Conseil TI was not designed as a traditional technology firm. It was designed as an independent advisory firm, structured around the client’s interests, with the posture of a professional firm: rigour, independence, judgment, confidentiality, and responsibility.

What inspired the model

The framework comes from our shared background in law and policing.

His background strengthens the firm’s client-defence posture: understand the facts, challenge the recommendations, protect the organization’s interests, and move the right decisions forward.

Former lawyer | Framework, rigour, and human approach

Laura is central to the creation of the Girouard Conseil TI model. Her experience as a former lawyer strongly inspired the idea of building an IT advisory firm like a professional firm: independent, rigorous, confidential, and centred on the client’s interests.

She brings the framework, the human sensitivity, and the depth of thinking behind the firm’s posture. Her influence is reflected in how we understand clients, analyze consequences, and treat each decision as if it affected our own business.
